The BA Outside add-on module is specially designed for the calculation of airborne noise insulation against outdoor noise. It is used both in noise remediation and in acoustical building planning. Thanks to its connection to SoundPLANessential, building geometry and calculation results can be used directly for facade optimization. Alternatively, the noise levels in front of the facade can also be entered manually.
In BA Outside, any number of buildings, facades, and components can be considered. The clear structure simplifies the management of even large projects with hundreds of buildings. The facades of a room can consist of any combination of walls, windows, doors, roller shutter boxes, ventilation systems, and roof surfaces. The calculation includes both direct and flanking transmission.
