SoundPLAN user training

SoundPLAN for newbie’s (industry):
This two days training offers newcomers to industrial noise a good entry into the problems of industrial noise modeling in SoundPLAN. On the basis of a simple project the data handling will be explained and the import possibilities to the libraries demonstrated. Furthermore the powerful indoor calculation tool and the industrial building will be explained.

SoundPLAN indoor:
The course will focus on the improved indoor noise modeling module of SoundPLAN. The calculations are still based on the VDI 3760, but are now extended to rooms with irregular layout and screening objects of any size and shape. During the training the theory and the practical implementation will be discussed and a training project will be setup by all participants in SoundPLAN.

The participants are responsible for their own laptop, basic acoustic knowledge about the VDI 3760.

Noise protection technique’s:
Within the frame of traffic noise the most common noise protection techniques are active noise measures (such as noise protection walls, speed reduction, road surface exchange) and passive measures (such as noise protection windows and ventilation). The seminar will focus on the available standards to optimize such measures and familiarize the use of the implemented techniques in SoundPLAN.

The participants are responsible for their own laptop, basic acoustic knowledge about the French road modeling standard NMP.

SoundPLAN advanced (special topics):
One day workshop only for advanced and experienced SoundPLAN users covering special topics, such as tunnel, bridges, calculation settings, spread sheet, etc. The list may be adapted to the requests of the participants.
